Celebrating Excellence: Russell F., Our April Manager of the Month!

Outdoor storage units at All In One Storage.

We are thrilled to shine the April manager of the month spotlight on Russell F., the facility manager at All In One Storage in Kodak, TN. Since joining the team three years ago, Russell has become a cornerstone of our operations in Tennessee. His dedication in blending a deep-rooted love for his community with an incredible work ethic has truly made a difference.

A Change of Pace, A Perfect Fit

Before joining the team, Russell spent many years navigating the high-energy world of sales. Seeking a shift in lifestyle and a stronger connection to his local community, he met with several of our area managers and realized the culture was a perfect match. He notes that it was an immediate fit based on the team culture and the specific goals for the Kodak property, with the added bonus of a short commute from his home. Russell particularly appreciates the balance of structure and autonomy in his role. He enjoys the ability to work within clearly defined parameters while having the freedom to manage his daily pace effectively.

Turning Vision into Reality

If you visit All In One Storage today, you’ll see the fruits of Russell’s labor. When he first took over, the property needed significant attention and care. Russell didn’t waste any time, and within his first year, he completely transformed the site. His proudest accomplishment involves the feedback from the customers themselves. Through his hard work, the property saw a surge of positive online reviews specifically highlighting the visible improvements and the clean, professional environment he has worked so hard to maintain.

Deep Roots and Family Values

Russell is a 6th generation Appalachian American and has called Kodak home for the last sixteen years. His connection to the land and the people of the region is evident in everything he does, from the way he manages his facility to the way he interacts with tenants.

When he isn’t at the facility, Russell is a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Lori, have three children. They are also blessed to be full-time caretakers for Lori’s mother, who is known affectionately by the family as Ma. This spirit of service carries over into his personal life motto: “Love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.”

The Great Outdoors and a Heavenly Wedding

It’s no surprise that a true Appalachian enjoys spending time in nature. When Russell has some downtime, you can usually find him camping, fishing, hunting, or enjoying a picnic with his family.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about Russell is his knack for planning. He personally organized his own wedding with the kind of precision usually reserved for professional event planners. After scouting locations in the national wilderness and securing the necessary federal permits, he held the ceremony on the top of Balsam Mountain. In a truly spectacular feat of timing, he coordinated the vows so that he and Lori said “I do” and shared their first kiss at the exact moment of totality during a total lunar eclipse.

Please join us in thanking Russell for his three years of dedication, his heart for service, and his commitment to excellence at our Kodak facility. Congratulations on being named the April manager of the month, Russell!
